Back from the dead still sweating from the drive Might’ve stayed in hell til someone told me I wasn’t alive I made a pact, the Devil only sent me back To love again, love again Only for to love again My a devilish friend Tattooed in red upon my skin I crossed the boarder The Rubicon, Nirvana Fell into a realm kind of like a cold sauna The road back was paved with violins One was singing ‘If she doesn’t love me I’mma go back to the country’ Interplanetary country, the loveless go to roam They make you feel at home Say “sit back we’ll rob you of your soul” Back from the dead sure had a good time Could’ve stayed in bed if I’d known living here’s the same as dying I’ve fallen kindly, the Devil sent me in only To live again, die again Hell I’ll fall in love again I’m loosening the chain Stripped and ready for the pain Space-time has the answer Melodic broadcaster The planet is a dancefloor and I’m tiny dancer You learn a lot about life when you’re necromancing I understand some of it mostly when I’m dancing “The inter-cosmic dimension jive Throwaway your money” Back from the dead in the name of rock n roll I’ve finally made peace with that itching that’s within my soul The war’s over, the Devil packed me only to Live again, cry again Make me wanna die again What you been doing In the space time continuum For love again, love again Sip the holy drug again There’s only been one To navigate the Golden Sun

Love is a mindless beast When you’re in love it’s the ego’s feast Are you looking at your own darn fine reflection in every shop window Or putting your mental health on the line but keeping the checks in tow And it’s not as if the two things ever gonna meet at an intersection Hell self love and loving yourself are polar ends of the spectrum Break your heart again Break your heart again You gotta get someone in, let them break your heart again Love is mindless thing Broken love is a frozen morning There’s nothing like the first time, straight through the middle spliced dynamite Well you won’t do that again, swear you’re not gonna let it happen twice Soldering irons fortifying all over that thing that you enshrine Arming ghosts of former selves all along the picket line Break your heart again Break your heart again To let someone in, dare them to break you heart again Love is a mischievous child Holy love capricious and wild My loved life’s like flying over a town at night, shimmering lights Though most burn out come daylight all forever in my mind shine Swayed occasionally it’ll give itself entirely to just one Now and then it’ll give all to only one Break my heart again Would you break my heart again Gotta let someone in, bet she’ll break my heart again

Space Magic 03:16
I believe in magic, space magic Put on your unicorn jacket Covered in bat ships The Saturn moon Enceladus - supposedly nice this time of year It’s in the hiero-graphics I’m coming in soft on top of a wave of cosmic madness Let’s dance, Cassiopeia’s second chance At the black hole dance I can taste the fabric Give Captain Planet a call Real name Patrick he’s got his own rocket ship we’re gonna ride right through the purple I believe in magic, love magic Capital Gold Motown Classics At the ugly pageant Caterpillar turned into a bat, dramatically turned into a bat Can you imagine? I sure can Born out of a dying star’s final throw of epic passion Take a chance At the black hole dance On a fragile circumstance It’s a delicate balance Intergalactic truth love-manic wreaking havoc in the most beautiful manner Love magic Space magic I believe in magic Oh I believe Initiating fade out now Dutiful fade out Magical fade out

When two worlds collide one of them dies Or a transformation is complete Alright ok when one thing dies something else begins Like life after its first amphetamine Well a change had occurred in our co-star At once oh please and kinda sweet It was the night the femme fatale poisoned the ladykiller He tripped and fell at her feet Like a ketamine dream unwittingly in- -duced to leave the subject totally confused But infatuated with an idea Both alien and very familiar A little plane pilot crash landed on a mountain Of the only island he was tryna find Everything that could be in love Was suddenly embroiled in a full blown crisis Hey brother where’d you lose your mind That kinda love’ll kill ya, killer killer Have you ever caught sight of a porcupine Removing its spike from a foe it affected With mercy in its eyes and fire in the victims No because it never has happened Until now with the perpetrator Of love’s lust Starting to feel the heat It was the night the femme fatale maimed the ladykiller And the order of things was complete The lion and the tiger called a truce on The internet’s protracted battle between the two A little plane pilot crash landed on the only Plateau of the island he was tryna find The final ever rodeo of this cycle Ended with the cowboy trying out a bicycle Anything that could be in love Was finally entwined in a cosmic spiral And hey brother did you lose your mind You know you’re messing with a trained killer, killer But hey sister didn’t the porcupine Decide to spare the chinchilla, killer killer
5.
The Inuit 03:32
You’ll never know me I’m just part, a little anecdotal side-component Only ever one more aching heart in this ancient unknown And by a heart I mean an ocean swelling, crushing, bleeding, tempest spreading Ever partly dictated by an apathetic moon If a celestial non-being can play so loose with my goddamn feelings Is it any wonder how the immediate world could be so cruel I was relieved to learn my capacity for love hadn’t altered at all Albeit in the most dismal of ways Your own personal apocalypse falls from the sky into the abyss And now everything on the television wants to make me fucking cry Said the mountain to the Inuit No choice but to surrender to it From the messiah to the idiot A line of wounded souls All part intricate eternal spinning thing You’ve been carelessly wandering through my dreams like a sleepless refugee Where did you learn to love someone you choose treat like that Love has no reason, the unburdened cross, phony love knows nothing of The immortal importance of being soft Spent a lifetime building up this tower Only to see it come tumbling down again Been thinking bout leaving the stone unguarded forever Must to take a mere cataclysm To break the chain and bridge the schism between The way I love you and revealing itself to me So said the mountain to the Inuit No choice but to surrender to it From the messiah to the idiot A line of wounded souls All part of the infinite swimming in ultra-violet illumination A slave to the intricate eternal spinning thing

Swimming 04:15
When I was young I would go swimming Through shallow daydreams and in the local bay- -thing pool Fall into line Let the water flood the troubles that My foolish heart would find This life Can be a tedious thing for an eight year old with a worried mind And if the water’s rising Over everything Swimming swimming Swimming Now as a man, I rarely look back Time’s a river bent through ever-shifting sand And our lives Are weaving weird patterns in the water with no hope Of reaching land I could help you see it As the endless stream of ships are sinking Swimming swimming Swimming
7.
Cool Design 04:23
I didn’t know what I was taking That i could see the laws were breaking down Vision tricks, computered notions Imitating real emotions I saw through truth glasses in beta Basic shades of grey through Rita’s aura Objective simulate absolute reality for fools Verisimilitude, they coloured in the naughts and ones with twos Intercepted code: HUMAN Does any of this mean anything to anyone? No one cut the scene with the flame thrower Terrifying the actors in the gameshow Twisted version, system glitches Flashes in the sky’s fabric Run the numbers scan the tapes There’s nothing here that says they should hate each other Toy monkey real robot, deja vu contorts in lines and dots Graphic content violent thoughts, breakdown to the final ends’ onslaught Confusion, cognitive dissonance, quantum failure implode Fake human genuine Jesus multiplied non-binary code Universe prototype: Human Does any of this mean anything to anyone? Intercepted code: HUMAN Does that sound like anything to anyone? What a cruel decline For such a cool design

The Idiot 03:15
It’s twisted, inverted and to all purposes counterfeit All hail the idiot, the genius is prohibited A fool to delve into something so elaborate Anti-scientism scrawled in crayon across the manuscript Beauty and tragedy are inseparable as it is written Comedy is always relevant and usually imminent Pure love: irrefutable, its laws obscure and prevalent But you love me like the government loves an immigrant Perceptions of a certain place in time Projected through the swamp that is my own mind Does this sound like some kind of joke to you? I pour my heart out and paint in blood A whimsical fable, a humorous falsehood The honeymoon’s over and i’ve seen a pig fly There’s no better time to be a serious guy Come on and praise the idiocy overlord we’re free to speak all stupid’s word, I’m serious alright Well if you’re into shit like sincerity then you’re obviously a radicalist Yes i know that’s not a word, all hail the idiot The rebels have continued to try to make sense of it A treason denounced as just some kind of astro-physics bullshit

Sally’s in a coma for driving while on her phone Could be month’s they said, that was years ago A wonderful woman, a devoted housewife The tabloid reported but they didn’t quote me right And they left out my haiku depicting her passion For comic book heroes, ‘The Reluctant Wonder Woman’ Oh I’ve been in prison within my own head Everyone speaks of her like she’s already dead But I’ve found a new therapist who’s been shunned by his field For his avant grade methods but what results they yield The microchip’s painless it’s her I can feel All of her data, it’s virtually real But then the light comes on And then the light comes on But then the light comes on Then the light comes on Sally’s in a coma, they’re gonna let her go Give it more time he’d begged, but that was many moons ago She dreams of a life that’s not to different from ours The planets still orbit brightly lit stars But all of her loves ones, deceased and alive Are present, accounted for, her dog’s been revived And she’s acquired powers, she’s able to fly If this is like heaven she’d happily die But then the light came on And then the light came on But then the light came on Then then light came on

To the unseen congregation she communicates in hums Motions of her wrist and fingers pass on in-formation Lines a on paper convey wisdoms she is quick to counter Movement of the air around her take to me like a Cool bromide, anxiolyte mixture She speaks to me and as that aphorism Implies I understand, finally I understand She speaks to me and furthermore I realise I never really listen, I’ve never listened to anything Like a dog sits staring at This Morning on a TV screen I have lived in tame bewilderment to all that I have seen Now my wildest proclamations are silently reduced to whispers Largely unbeknownst to her she’s been harvesting my thoughts Only to return them weirder She speaks to me and as that aphorism Implies I understand, wait a minute now I understand She speaks to me and furthermore I realise I never really listen, I’ve never listened to anything As a self-proclaimed Messiah Eventually unveiled Like the memoirs of a false prophet Unread on the shelf Humbled I watch in wonder She speaks to me and as that kind of saying Implies I understand, finally I understand She speaks to me and furthermore I realise I never really listen, I’ve never listened to anything or anyone before now

Violet’s the colour that knows no wrong I see any time I sing a love song The kind that makes a red-blooded woman wanna question how it’s going with her husband Come on you know I know it’s only pretence As if a girl would ever leave her boyfriend For something that’s only as holy as the colours on the polyphonic spectrum So step into the violet shade of blue I can turn it off anytime I want to But I can keep it running all night If it’s the kind of thing your into Slip into the deepest form of you I can reign it in anytime you need me to But it’s written in lights in the night since pretty much forever Vera’s in the corner singing red anthems The type that makes a guy wanna leave his girlfriend Entangled is the night that takes the shape of many different colours So step into the violet shade of blue now I can turn it off anytime I want to But I can keep it burning my whole life If it’s the kind of thing your into Slip into the weirdest form of you I can reign it in anytime you need me to But it’s written in lights in the night since pretty much forever Come on brother you don’t need to be so blue A colour can mean anything you want it to The gloomiest hue assumes form of jealousy’s lover Vera’s in the corner singing blood anthems The type that makes a woman wanna leave her woman Entangled is the night that takes the shape of many different colours

I’ve been thinking and when I die I would like my heart cut out and projected into outer space And maybe it’ll catch on and others will do the same The entirety of the human race With their hearts cut out and floating in outer space But obviously I’ve thought it through some more and of course someone could need my heart too The dead have no use for such things, but the apparently living do As in a heart transplant or part of it that can be used It’s possible it’ll be too old, broken or abused But if they find that it’s ok in which in case I would gladly say Go on give my heart to a member of the human race, alive, beating But if they find that it’s of no use, I mean who’d want this thing with all it’s been through Then I’d like it to be sent into outer space I want cut out and sent into hyper space And maybe it’ll catch on and others will do the same The entirety of the human race With their hearts cut out and floating in outer space Or just a small minority of the human race With our broken hearts all floating in hyper space And the science says - well small caveat, let’s not get bogged down in scientific detail for the sake of a pop song - so yeah the science says it wouldn’t decompose for millions of years in the climate of the cosmos So perhaps it find another home Hit the window of an alien space probe And they say what the hell is that weird red blob, is it some kind of heart, and oh wait there appears to be thousands of them around Let’s run some tests and see what we can find out This one was full of love, that one was consumed by pain What beautiful species this could have been But what a very peculiar thing to have agreed to do
